We also believe that connection and inclusion are affirming powers that strengthen individuals and communities. We therefore strive to deliver many of our services in the community, including life skills training at two satellite learning centers.
Our consumers courageously dare to dream, chart a course, and pursue it. Therefore, our success is measured against each consumer’s goals for their education, career, and life.
These goals may include:
Living independently in their own homes and in the communities of their choice.
Pursuing work goals by volunteering, learning pre-vocational skills, or obtaining competitive employment.
Pursuing individual goals such as speaking at community groups, participating in statewide retreats, planning family functions, and taking educational classes.
