Project Genesis, Inc., seeks a Program Manager for its Acquired Brain Injury Program in the Southeast Connecticut area. Program provides high caliber supports directed toward assisting individuals with ABI develop the skills necessary to enjoy an independent and productive lifestyle. Position is responsible for case management, program coordination, supervision of staff and on-call responsibilities. A Bachelor's degree in a human services related field, minimum 2 years' experience with ABI, and minimum 2 years supervisory experience required. Successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, experience scheduling and managing a case load, ability to work as part of an interdepartmental team, and knowledge of behavior management protocols. Education Mentor
Want to make a different in a young person's life? Education Mentors in our Special Education Support Services Program work 1:1 with students with special needs in community settings. Experience and/or education in disabilities, education or human services required. Also requires knowledge of mental health related issues, behavior management and transition skills including job coaching, functional academics, and daily living skills. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently and in community settings. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and be willing to travel within a 30 miles radius. Scheduler/Administrative Assistant
Project Genesis, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving individuals with disabilities, seeks full-time scheduler/administrative assistant--30 hours between 8:00 am-5 pm, flexible. Responsibilities include inputting schedules into computer system, coordinating scheduling adjustments, processing mail, typing reports, preparing materials, filing and other responsibilities as assigned. Ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communications skills, organizational skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and proficiency in Word and Excel. Associates degree and minimum of two years related experience including scheduling experience required.
