Our Programs

Project Genesis, a non-profit corporation, has been dedicated to serving Connecticut adults and students who have disabilities for 25 years.  While our main office is located in Willimantic, our services are available in nearly every county in the state. We serve over 250 individuals per year, some of whom participate in short-term job supports and many whom receive long-term educational, vocational and life-skills supports.

Acquired Brain Injury

Project Genesis is a provider for the Acquired Brain Injury Medicaid Waiver Program in Connecticut. We provide the highest caliber of supports, directed to the individual’s development of skills necessary to enjoy independence in their community.


Special Education Support Services

Project Genesis provides individualized academic support and transition services for students with disabilities throughout Connecticut. By carefully matching each student to an education mentor and nurturing a positive working relationship, we help students achieve successful outcomes.
We are committed to the belief that one positive relationship can change a student’s life immeasurably for the better.


Adults with Disabilities Jobs Program

Project Genesis provides job development, work evaluations, job coaching, working interviews, and on-the-job training to individuals with disabilities through funding from the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services.

We secure jobs and assessments quickly across a broad range of industries and job offerings. We work with employers throughout Connecticut to match their needs with consumers’ skills and interests.
